Really we have got some great news for Mac users and for those who love to use Skype on their computers.. Today Skype official blog has just published a new report saying that they have released a new update for Skype which is version 5.8 which comes with some great features that everyone should see it..

This new version of Skype brings some great feature like a better mobile video calls for iPhone, iPad and Android Skype for Mac will now detect this and automatically re-orient the video call. If you’ve held or plan to hold a video call with someone who is using Skype for Windows Phone.

That’s not all but also and after a huge time of waiting it brings the support for Mountain Lion.. Here’s apart from what have mentioned on Skype official blog:

Ready to Roar. Skype 5.8 for Mac is also built to work with Apple’s forthcoming desktop operating system, OS X Mountain Lion, in addition to being compatible with past versions of OS X going all the way back to Leopard.

More to come. Another feature many of you having been asking for – the ability to open chats in separate windows and keep track of what’s going on with multiple contacts at once – will be coming to Skype for Mac real soon. Stay tuned for additional updates.

Finally, Skype is now fully compatible Apple’s OS X Mountain Lion release next month, so you won’t need to worry about losing your Skype functionality when you upgrade.
