There have been some rumors that claims that Facebook is working on a phone project where Facebook company is hiring UI design managers but of course it was only a rumors, but not anymore after we have got a report from InsideFacebook which says that Facebook has already hired an Apple’s UI design manager who is called Chris Weeldreyers indicated by his Facebook profile. Weeldreyer, who has 8+ year experience as user interface design manager, started his new role at Facebook on June 18, 2012.
Chris is considered one of the important UI Design manager for Apple as he worked between November 2003 to February 2012. Prior to Apple, he had worked as Principal Designer with San Francisco, California-based Cooper from September 2000 to October 2003 and before that at Pentagram and frog design. And here’s what the mockups and phone concepts says that Facebook phone would looks like this one:
So what do you think ?! Is it true that Facebook is taking it seriously and we could see an Facebook phone ?! I can’t imagine what it will looks like..
