How To Easily Fix Absinthe Lockdown Error

by Abdelrahman Mohamed on May 26, 2012

Yesterday it was a big day to all jailbreakers because iOS hackers announced releasing Absinthe 2.0 untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1, and in the same day hackers released a new update which is Absinthe v.2.0.1 which fixes some minor bugs errors but it appears that users also faced a problem in this new update.. The Main problem is “Error detecting device (lockdown error -5)” and “Could not connect to lockdown“…

Too many users complained from this error which makes it very popular.. So @Pod2G and @pimskeks made some conversations with us and they said that the main problem is that creates a timeout. But the fix is fairly easy. All you have to do is go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Content and Settings. Then make sure you download Absinthe 2.0.1 and run it again.

I hope this trick works with you.. Because too many users are stuck at this point..
